Perfect for a light lunch or supper but also a very attractive and easy starter to any meal. Contrasting flavours that work brilliantly together.
Preheat the oven to 425˚F.
Grease a baking tray.
Brush the asparagus with the oil and season with garlic salt and black pepper.
Bundle the asparagus spears into threes and use one slice of bacon per bundle.
Wrap the bacon around the stem tightly starting at the base. Then roll in the parmesan and place on the baking tray.
Once they’re all done, pop the tray into the oven for c. 25 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.
5 minutes before the end, increase the temperature to really crisp the bacon. Then allow to cool and dig in!
