Easy to put together, it’s the ultimate weekend lunch and tastes AMAZING! Sweet, salty, buttery…everything you want from a brunch! We’ve added the recipe below if you want to give them a try! (Makes 4 large croissants). Recipe courtesy of Amy Sheppard Food.
Heat the oven to 180C
Drizzle a little oil in a non-stick frying pan. Place the bacon in the pan and fry for a couple of minutes each side on a medium to high heat, until cooked through and starting to crisp. Set the bacon aside.
Open up the croissants, so you can add filling, but the top and bottom are still attached.
Spread a thin layer of red onion chutney inside each croissant, on one side only.
Lay slices of brie over the chutney and finish with one or two slices of bacon. Lay the croissants on a baking tray.
Bake for around 10 minutes, until the cheese is melting and croissants are crisp. Serve immediately.
