Crispy bacon, silky carbonara sauce, and perfectly creamy orzo - the kind of meal that fixes absolutely everything.
Traditionally a Croque Madame is made with ham. This version uses smoked bacon – a lovely twist on a classic and a perfect festive supper.
This makes such a lovely change from the usual meatballs. The chicken and bacon goes so well together. If you want to add a few more veggies, try frying some red pepper with the onion or adding a handful of spinach at the end.
