We’re honoured that our responsibly farmed bacon continues to be recognised by award bodies. The UK’s first brand of bacon to be raised without antibiotics from birth, spoiltpig also have the stamp of assurance from the RSPCA. This helps you feel confident that our bacon is made from animals that have had a better life.

spoiltpig have won numerous awards from Taste of the West, who celebrate the best of food and drink from our beautiful West Country.

Originally the Guild of Fine Food, the benchmark awarding body for speciality food and drink is Great Taste who have awarded spoiltpig gold stars year on year.

Taste of the West celebrates and promotes fantastic local food and drink from Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire. spoiltpig are very excited to have been awarded Gold in 2019, for a sixth consecutive year, across our ranges of bacon. What an honour!

Great Taste Awards

Great Taste, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, is the acknowledged benchmark for speciality food and drink. It has been described as the ‘Oscars’ of the food world and the ‘epicurean equivalent of the Booker prize’. In 2015 spoiltpig smoked streaky bacon was awarded gold 1-star.
